12 audit dimensions

From heading order to whether an AI can describe what you sell.

Every issue has a fix

With effort, priority and acceptance criteria attached.

Sources always shown

Observed, inferred, estimated or simulated. Never blurred.

Why it is different

Most website audits produce a score. This one produces a decision.

A number out of 100 tells you nothing you can act on. Syfoge is built around the four things that actually change what you do on Monday morning.

01

Findings, not vibes

Every issue arrives with the evidence behind it, the page it was found on, and a plain statement of whether we observed it, inferred it, or estimated it. You can argue with a finding. You cannot argue with a score out of 100.

02

A remedy for every issue

No finding is allowed to exist without a specific proposed fix, an effort estimate and acceptance criteria. “Improve your SEO” is not a recommendation. Rewriting a hero into an outcome-led headline with one primary CTA is.

03

The commercial consequence

We model what the gaps are plausibly costing you, as a range, with the assumptions shown. It is an estimate that invites scrutiny — not a number designed to frighten you into buying.

04

A path, not a report

The audit ends in a costed proposal, a prototype you can approve page by page, and a project workspace that tracks the build. The findings become tasks. The tasks become a website.

How it works

From a URL to a website in build, without leaving the platform.

  1. 01

    Enter your website

We read your publicly available pages. Nothing is changed, nothing is logged into, and private networks are refused outright.

  2. 02

    Tell us the business context

Traffic, average sale value, goals, competitors. The audit is only as commercially useful as the context you give it.

  3. 03

    We audit twelve dimensions

From heading structure to whether an AI assistant could summarise what you sell — each finding evidenced and prioritised.

  4. 04

You see the gap and the cost

Scores, critical issues, competitor benchmarks and an indicative revenue opportunity with its workings shown.

  5. 05

Approve a redesign and a quote

A prototype you can review on desktop, tablet and mobile, and a proposal scoped from the findings you chose to include.

  6. 06

    Watch it get built

A deposit opens a project workspace. Pages and functionality move through review and approval until launch.

What we audit

Twelve dimensions, because a website fails commercially in more than one way.

Each dimension produces scored findings with evidence, a severity, a priority and a specific remedy. Nothing is scored without something to point at.

User experience

Navigation clarity, information architecture, task completion, form friction, content findability.

Interface and visual design

Typography, colour discipline, spacing, hierarchy, imagery, brand cohesion, perceived modernity.

Interaction design

Hover, focus, loading, error and empty states. Feedback, and whether the site ever tells you what just happened.

Accessibility

Contrast, keyboard navigation, focus visibility, labels, alt text, heading order, landmark structure.

Performance

Page weight, image optimisation, script and CSS weight, render blocking, Core Web Vitals, mobile performance.

Technical quality

Broken links, redirect chains, HTTPS, security headers, analytics, sitemap, robots, structured data.

SEO

Titles, meta descriptions, heading structure, internal linking, indexability, content depth, search intent coverage.

AIEO and generative search

Entity clarity, direct answers, schema, machine-readable facts, citation readiness — whether an AI assistant can actually describe you.

Marketing

Value proposition, audience clarity, trust signals, social proof, offers, lead magnets, messaging consistency.

Conversion

Primary and secondary CTAs, form length, pricing clarity, trust at the point of decision, mobile conversion path.

Content

Readability, tone, service and product clarity, content gaps, FAQ coverage, case studies.

Revenue opportunity

Missed lead capture, weak conversion paths, absent booking, poor mobile experience, thin organic visibility.

Revenue leakage

Your website is already losing money. The question is where, and how much.

We model the commercial consequence of each finding as an indicative range, using your traffic, your average sale value and your conversion rate — and we show the arithmetic. If you disagree with an assumption, change it and the range moves.

Estimates are indicative ranges modelled from the information you provided and published benchmarks. They are not a forecast, not a guarantee, and should be validated against your own analytics before any commercial decision.

Enquiries that never start

A contact page with traffic but no submissions is not a design problem. It is a revenue problem with a design cause.

The wait that kills the deal

Competitors let a prospect book a slot. You ask them to email and wait. The gap between intent and commitment is where consultations die.

Mobile that converts half as well

Most sites are read on a phone and designed on a laptop. The conversion gap between the two is usually measurable, and usually ignored.

Invisible to the machines

AI assistants increasingly answer the first question a buyer asks. If your services are not machine-readable, you are not in the answer.

Redesign prototype

See the fix before you commit to it.

The findings and your stated design preferences compose a proposed redesign you can review on desktop, tablet and mobile — with the rationale for each decision and the findings it resolves shown alongside. It is template-driven, and the interface says so.

Page by page

Homepage, services, service detail, contact, pricing, blog and more — each with a design rationale.

Approve or return

Approve a page, or request changes with comments. Versions are kept and can be compared.

Findings resolved

Every proposed page lists which audit findings it addresses, so the design is accountable to the evidence.

What people say

The uncomfortable findings are the valuable ones.

The audit told us our contact page had the second-highest traffic on the site and the lowest completion rate on the site. We had been redesigning the homepage for four months.

Priya RamanMarketing Director, Meridian Surveying

What sold it internally was that every finding had a fix attached, with an effort estimate. I could take it straight into a budget conversation instead of translating it first.

Tom WhitfieldOperations Director, Calder & Rowe

The AI search section was the uncomfortable one. We ranked perfectly well on Google and were completely absent from the answers our clients were actually being given.
